I’ve seen all the great movies involving assassins who use sniper rifles to take out their unsuspecting victims – Assassins, Hitman, Wanted, the Jackal, etc. I always thought if I ever did go into the military that the job of a marksman or sniper would be extremely fascinating.

I understand it would take extreme patience, as these snipers can sit out in there hideout for hour and hours not being able to move a muscle so as not to give away their position to the enemy, but it would be amazing nonetheless.

There is just something about hiding out, completely camouflage, waiting for that perfect shot to take out someone who never sees it coming. For now I live out my fantasy through paintball as a sniper. I used to love running around, dodging “bullets”, diving into ditches and hiding behind trees and other obstacles, but now I love the calm and peacefulness of sitting all by my lonesome where nobody is around and taking out targets one by one.

<!--

I have several paintball sniper rifles, some I love more than others. But how do you find one that is right for you? Let’s be honest, whether you are buying a sniper rifle or you are purchasing a sniper kit or package to upgrade the gun you already have, you are making no small investment. Paintball is not a cheap sport to begin with, but when you start buying multiple sniper rifles you want to make sure you are getting your money’s worth.

If you have one of the more popular Tippmann guns, most of these can be upgraded to a sniper level gun with a simple kit or package. This is what I recommend if you are on a budget. In some cases these can work just as well as your custom built sniper rifle and at a fraction of the cost. One thing to avoid is if you have a stainless steel or otherwise shiny gun, this will not make for a candidate to be a good a paintball sniper rifle upgrade. The whole idea is to be undetectable. If your opponent sees bling bling coming from a reflection your position is compromises and you will be out of the game soon.

The best thing to do when choosing a paintball sniper rifle is to test out multiple models. The best gun for one person may not exactly be the best gun for someone else. I’ve tried out some of the supposedly “best” rifles on the market and they just didn’t feel right to me compared to some others I’ve tried and tested. Try out multiple guns and scopes to get one that “feels right” to you. This is the most important thing. You have to be totally comfortable with your gun knowing that when you take the shot it will reach the target on the first try. Snipers don’t get second chances to hit their mark.

What exactly is a paintball sniper rifle? Is it a completely different type of gun altogether? Not exactly. Although more and more specifically designed sniper rifles are on the market now, most sniper rifles are simply your standard paintball gun with or a "sniper kit" or "package" as they are called.

What exactly is a paintball sniper rifle? Is it a completely different type of gun all together? Not exactly. Although more and more specifically designed sniper rifles are on the market now, most sniper rifles are simply your standard paintball gun with or a “sniper kit” or “package” as they are called.
These kits or packages are are add on kits you can purchase for most guns that simply upgraded the gun you already have to a sniper level gun. This is done by adding a modified barrel, a scope, special handle, etc.
This is definitely the way to go if you have already invested in a great gun but also want the ability to convert it into a sniper rifle. Some paintball snipers can cost upwards of $2500-$3,000.
So how does a sniper rifle differ than a regular paintball rifle or paintball pistol? The biggest distinction is the barrel and how it is designed. A traditional gun will fire a paintball with an arched approach or a curved shot. Snipers are specifically designed to shoot a ball with maximum backspin thus forcing the trajectory of the ball to travel in a very straight line. This is crucial for those far away shots that require pin point accuracy. Not to mention this can up to 125 yards to the shooting distance compared to a traditional paintball gun.
So why not make every gun a Paintball Sniper rifle? Well there are some downsides. Just as with typical guns (real guns, not paintball guns) you can’t exactly run around with a great big sniper rifle in hand trying to shoot people. They are used for precise single shot at a time uses. Load up, wait for the target to get in place, aim and shoot. Then repeat the process again on the next target. They are not designed for a rapid fire gun battle where you would need to quickly shoot multiple targets in a short period of time in the heat of battle.
Paintball Sniper can also refer to a person and not the gun. This person is usually a dedicated person on the paintball team who sits far off in the distance, hidden from the combat scene, lying in wait to take out a target at any time. This Paintball sniper must be very patient and will be forced to wait until the perfect moment to unleash a shot on an unexpected foe. This is very different than a person on a team that is running around, ducking behind trees and jumping into bunkers. It takes a special kind to be a paintball sniper.

Taylor Made golf clubs are into leading the combined driver, iron counts and fairway wood at PGA tournaments. The advancement of the metal wood technology employed by Taylor Made golf clubs make it possible to each player to have a his own club. This metalwood technology created famous clubs in the form of Pittsburgh Persimmon, Tour Preferred, Burner, and Burner Bubble, each is considered a high performance piece of device. With titanium clubheads, Taylor Made clubs are very strong but extremely light to use.

Taylor Made’s metalwood golf clubs boast of the following models with features that surely makes each golf club a hit to golfers:

R7 Fairway Woods is the Taylor Made golf club, which is with Taylor Made Launch Control (TLC) Port. TLC cartridges can be installed and removed to permit users in changing the CG location to vary the degrees of draws and fades that will consequently promote more accuracy and distance.

R5 Titanium Fairway is another Taylor Made golf club that has a titanium clubhead that is very easy to hit. It has permanent TLC cartridges that facilitate the launching of the ball high, long and straight for the players who would rather not change cartridges.

V Steel Fairway Woods claims its having the ultimate combination of power, accuracy and versatility. It is the Taylor Made golf club that attributes its excellence to its V-shaped sole that improves the force of how the sole interacts with the turf at impact.

Rescue Dual is a Taylor Made club that has double TLC ports that are widely spaced for increased forgiveness on incurring mis-hits. It has a new T-shaped sole that is responsible for the increased clubhead stability and decreased drag at impact that in turn promotes better accuracy and distance. With its low center of gravity (CG), it’s a lot easier to launch than a long-iron and this makes shots higher and longer.

Rescue Dual TP, with dual TLC port and Taylor Made’s movable weight technology,is best known to promote the variation of degrees of draw and fade. Further off, it makes for greater forgiveness. The difference between Rescue Dual and Rescue Dual TP is that TP has a higher center of gravity (CG) position that allows a lower, piercing ball flight that many experienced golf players find easier to manipulate.

Rescue Mid is said to be Taylor Made’s breakthrough utility club that is engineered to be easier to use than a long-iron while displaying prowess in providing better distance. This golf club’s excellent performance is from its way of uniting a high flash of inertia with a lower, deeper center of gravity. This creates maximum forgiveness on mishits, high launch angle and high spin for high, long shots that quickly stops.

Rescue Fairway is the Taylor Made golf club that indulges in its having a low profile that is responsible for its low and deep center of gravity (CG). It is made to smooth the progress of hitting the ball high, long and straight. This golf club is crafted with double sole that improves playability from a variety of lies. Taylor Made engineered it to launch a high angle with high spin for long-carrying shots that surely impress each player.
